I’m a self-taught artist and entrepreneur with a passion for art and productivity. I combined those things to created Designed By Addy. My goal is to help people love planning through cozy and fun stationery that makes the process easier, exciting, and enjoyable!
Ever since I was little, I dreamed of being an artist…
When I was little, I loved to draw. I wanted to be an artist when I “grew up.” Eventually I realized I didn’t like my art and stopped drawing altogether. Years later I was inspired by a friend to try again, and this time I wanted to stick with it. I’ve made a *lot* of bad art, and my style has changed a few times. I’ve been discouraged at points, but I never gave up. I know my art still isn’t perfect, but I love doing it and am constantly improving. As a Christian, my biggest goal through my business is to use the skills that God has given me for His glory and to bless others.

My Business History
In the summer of 2021, I decided to open my first Etsy shop. At first, I was making mostly wall art and printable planners. I learned a lot through that but ultimately decided I wanted to take my business a different direction. A couple years later, as I was learning how to draw, I started selling sticker sheets and eventually expanded to making a few different types of stationery. In the spring of 2025, I finally did my first craft market. It was definitely a learning experience, and gave me a new appreciation for the people that do markets two or more times a year. I am still growing my business and improving. I still have dreams and goals for my business and have lots of plans for new products and resources!
